Block of Gold, Not Finished Pieces.

I've been spending a lot of time lately just thinking about form - not trends, not settings, not rules. Just shape. Structure. Mass. Meaning.

The pieces I've been designing lately all start the same way:

The stones aren't set into it.

They hover. They float.

Almost illusory - like a mosaic suspended in space.

Not ornate

Not decorative

Not trying to be impressive.

Just mass. Geometry. Intention. imagining jewelry without asking it to behave.

I'm less interested in traditional settings right now and more interested in structure. In what happens when form leads, and embellishment follows - if it follows at all.

The stones aren't the centerpiece.

They hover; they interrupt. They behave almost like light caught mid-thought.

it's intentional.

Unconventional.

Sometimes uncomfortable - and i like that.

Form First. Illusion Second

These designs aren't about finishing a piece as quickly as possible.

They're about building a foundation- a base form that can evolve.

Simple shapes, elevated through intentional, unconventional diamond placement.

A structure that can be layered, refined, and personalized to meet each client's vision without losing its core identity.

That's why I think of them less as "final pieces" and more as starting points.

On Origin and Intention

Some of the stones used in these designs are mined in Nigeria.

Moving into 2026, I'm becoming more intentional about integrating local resources into my work. Quietly. Naturally. Without forcing the narrative.

Designed as foundational structure - simple shapes elevated through intentional, unconventional diamond placement.

Designed as a base form, open to evolution and refinement for each client's custom expression.

For me my Core feelings towards this concept was finding my true original ability to express my perspective in reference to designing, reimagining how jewelry can be presented, felt, and understood in my own expression of how i chose to communicate.
